I am Prakash Luitel, a geologist with expertise in geologic mapping, geophysical investigation, and landslide research. Currently, I am working as a Gazetted Officer-Class III Geologist at the Department of Mines and Geology, Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies, Government of Nepal.

My educational background includes a Master's degree in Geology with specialization in Engineering Geology and a Bachelor's degree with a combination of Geology, Physics, and Mathematics from Tribhuvan University.

Aside from my work in the government sector, I also worked as an Assistant Lecturer at the Central Department of Geology, T.U., teaching subjects such as Mineralogy and Crystallography, Exploration Geophysics, and Rock Slope Engineering.

I have also worked as an Engineering Geologist at the Everest Geotechnical and Environmental Research Center P. Ltd., where I gained experience in geological and engineering geological mapping and site investigation for engineering structures.

My skills include GIS, Phase2, Rockfall, Rocplane, graphics designing software, interpersonal skills, and teaching aptitude. I am fluent in English, Hindi, and Nepali.

I have presented my research at the International Conference on Geo-mechanics, Geo-energy and Geo-Resources, and have also been a member of the organizing committee for the 11th Nepal Geological Congress. Additionally, I am a Life Member of the Nepal Geological Society and currently serve on its IT Committee.
